I have had this for a while now but am just getting around to posting this, sorry it took so long Felix.
Type 1 A riser,#2 limbs make a 58" bow and 60#@28".
What can I say, a classic beauty and a real shooter. Quiet as a mouse and hits where I look. I have always wanted one of these and when this came along I just had to buy it. It will stay with me for good. I have a set of #3 limbs that bodoc is refinishing that will make a 60" bow and 65#@28".

Danny, I got one kinda like that...but it's got all these dang scribbles on it. No good for dragging around the woods :bigsmyl: Doc

Very nice bows. Doc I can get those scribbles off for you. :D
LOL, Doc. I would be afraid to even shoot that one with all that history on it. B riser or C riser? Looks like a C to me. That is one to treasure.
Danny
Gotta love those original "A Handles"

Doc,
I can read Papa Bear's autograph, but not the other two on my screen...
Who else signed it?
Daryl
Hawkeye,
Below is a little info.
Frank Scott - was a longtime Bear employee, Curator of the Fred Bear Museum and member of the Archery Hall of Fame
Charlie Kroll - Fred's son in law, author of Fred Bear: Biography of an Outdoorsman and member of the Michigan Bowhunters Hall of Fame
Thanks, Bryan, just couldn't make them out! Should have guessed Frank, at least...
I have a 2002 "A" handle, 2 sets of #1 FF limbs and 1 set of #3 white tip Grayling limbs. It is undoubtedly my favorite goto bow.

Here I am shooting it at the 2008 Baltimore Classic. I hit the 8 ring on a bear at I think it was 58 yards. I DO LOVE THAT BOW! (http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h21/VAbowbender/Hunting/Rob%20Pictures/Balt4-1.jpg)
