after beating my head against the wall trying to get my carbon arrows to fly good im giving up.can someone please tell me what size aluminum arrow would fly perfectly out of my setup. i shoot a 68" longbow 55# @ 28" witch is also my dl. i would like to have the arrows cut to 29" and use a 150g woodsman broadhead.i have a 10 strand padded df97 string and i shoot 3 under. any help would be great cause im about to turn my longbow into firewood :banghead: .
I would start out with a 2018 or 2114 but you may find you have to go a tad stiffer. Maybe up to a 2020 or 2117.
Every shooter and bow is different, but I concur with Tim, start with a 2018 or a 2117, that should be very close.
I shoot 2219 XX75 Heavy Hitters and love'em, but that's me.
2020...very durable and could be a tad stiff if so a 2018. If too weak a 2117.RC
Try this chart, it is the best one that I have found http://home.att.net/~sajackson/eastonlegacy.html Good Luck
