What yardage do you bare shaft tune at? Thanks
I usually start at 10 yards to get into the ballpark and fine tune out to 30 or so. You don't have to tune out that far, but the further you go, the more you'll see what you need to do to get it right. You ought to see how great an arrow with feathers flies when it's bare shafted to 30. Your mileage may vary, but it works for me.
what jc said.when you can get the bare shafts grouping with the fletched arrows at 20 yards, you can, as a rule double your point on with feathered arrows. :coffee:
Thanks fellas!!
I've always heard that you should bare shaft tune out as far as you plan on shooting effectively.
