Greetings to you from a cold South Africa.
Does anyone know what, at 30'', the draw weight of a 40# @ 28'' Hoyt Dorado is? Thank you,
Jaco Wessels.

I would imagine it would be ~45-46lbs. 2-3lbs per inch is a general rule with draw length. Not absolute, but pretty close.
By the way, I am interested in the Dorado and have a 30" draw. Do you notice any stack at that draw length?
I have a 09 Dorado that is 45#@28" I draw 29" this bow jumped 5# in 1" I sold the limbs and put a pair of Trad-Tech carbon limbs on it what a difference, anyway I have it for sale over at stickbow it is 50#@30" 62"amo makes it smoother drawing than the standard 60"amo,
My Dorado is marked 55#@28in, but it pulls 57#@28 and 54# at my 27in draw. My Gamemaster is about the same as well!
Mine are 48# @ 28" and a it jumped to 58# @ 30" these limbs seem to stack up at the end.
