just ordered new predator recurve 60# @28". looking for anyone who has shot one.
Alex:
Do a search, there has been a few threads about the Predator bows lately. Most seem to really like them. I have never shot one but sure do like the looks of them.
Mike
I shot one at a the traditional rendezvous in eastern OH last year. They are really nice bows. Fast (faster than my widows) and quiet. If I ever go back to a recurve, I'll try one. I've got a new Centaur longbow coming in a week or so and a New Shrew coming in June. So I don't think I'll have any reason to go back, but I wouldn't think twice about buying a Predator if did. Goodluck and God Bless, Dave
I own one. 60#@28". Great choice.

My friend KHALVERSON bought one this year from the classifieds. It is a smooth, quick bow. Looks great too. He really shoots it well.
Alex, if you can, please post some pictures of your bow when it arrives.
My daughter's boyfriend has a Predator recurve. She converted him over to Traditional archery bless her heart.
He bought it from Cabela's. It's the basic take down with black glass. I must say that I'm impressed with the way it looks, feels in the hand, and the way it shoots.
The handle is simple yet fits good. I could pick it up and shoot very well with it right away.
I think that it has good classic lines that make it not only a good looking bow but a smart design from a manufacturing standpoint.
I think you will be pround to own one.
I have shot a Predator exclusively for over ten years now.
I have a spare set of duplicate limbs in the weight I am currently shooting. I can interchange them and not notice any difference.
I have untold numbers of arrows through it. I couldn`t even guess how many.
My advice is keep your arrow weight around the usual ten grains per pound of draw weight, get some quality string silencers, and have a ball.
If you are like me, you will find the bow easy to shoot, and will notice your shooting improve instantly.
The lack of hand shock with your Predator will reveal just how much shock some other bows have, that you never even realized before.
Congrats on your purchase...you`ll not regret it.
i bought one on the classifieds here
51# @ 28 and 58 in long
quiet fast and smooth as butter
no stack at 29 inches
it is becoming my go to bow
please post pics when you get yours
Yeah I just orded the hunter model. I am sort of a basic kind of guy. don't need nothing fancy. 60# @ 28"
They are really nice bows - well made, fast and quiet. I only have mine up for sale at the moment because I shoot my Firefly longbow more accurately and consistently.
However if I was going to shoot a recurce it would be a Predator.
