well my son decided to show up 21/2 months early today. he is 3# 4oz. He i doing good but will be in ICU for a couple of months.

His older brother was a premie also, so i have down this road before.

He looks good for being 2.5 months early. Scary. I'm sure he's a tough one, but i'll be prayin for ya'll anyway. Congrats to you both on a good looking boy.

I have been there myself. Daughter was born 3 months early back in '96. 1 lb 10oz!!! It is amazing how tough those little guys can be.

My premie Son is 5" 10" and weighs 220 lbs. Good looking Boy You have there.

My boy was a touch early and was a little under 5 pounds when we got him home. He is now 5 and is one tuff dude until he sees his own blood then he freaks a little. Hits a heavy bag like a champ.

I guess he just couldn`t be patient any longer, and had to come out and see what all the noise was about that he had been hearing!

Before you know it he will be wearing your socks, and eating most of everything in the house. :)

Congratulations on the birth of your baby boy. Aside from the St Jude's effort here on TradGang my other charitable contributions include the March of Dimes. Modern medicine has fewer more heart warming stories than what they are currently able to do for premature babies.

My grandson was 2.5 pounds in feb., 8# today- amazing medical technology and lots of love get them there!
