Jeff Nice Joe
sweeeeeeeeeeet
So as not to start another thread.....
Is there anything I can add (temp., of course) to the back of the grip....where the heel of my hand hits) to make it a little more "grippy"?
I feel like it's kinda "loose" when I'm at full draw. I allow that point, only, to be my pressure point (probably worded wrongly). If there's something that would make it feel like it wasn't gonna slip from side to side, I'd like to know about it.
When I hunt this fall, I wear UA gloves. So, I'm sure the little grippers in the palm will alleviate this feeling.
Thanks, guys. I couldn't be happier with it, in totality.
Jeff the pics tell a beautiful story! Congrats brother!
Start with the best why dont you? That is sweet. There was a thread a while back about gluing beaver tail to the grip area of a riser. It came out real nice.
Yeah I think fido dog had a thread about it, worked out beautiful and seemed fairly easy to do!
Jeff, check this link out!

Great looking Curve
You might try a non adhesive tennis or raquet ball grip strip.
Try a bow saddle available at 3 rivers. Very inexpensive. I used one on my RER recurve and it made a world of difference on the grip. Beautiful bow by the way, and based on my limited experience I am sure it will be a great performer.
Wow she's a beauty. That's the next bow up on my dream list.
Jeff, have you thought about having the grip checkered?
Beautiful bow Jeff! Your going to really like the way it shoots. I find my LX is the easiest bow for me to shoot I have. This is what I did to my grip.

Very nice, I'm loving my LXR as well.
Sweet looking bow
Nice bow Jeff. Can't wait to see it in person on saturday.
Have you ever considered trying a bowsling? John should have some up there. I'm sure he'd let you put one on and check it out. He'd probably put a quiver on it for ya too.(LOL). enjoy the bow and have fun with it. Don
I just saw John was gonna be there, Don. First thing I thought of was....is he gonna have a small quiver with him I could put on the bow and shoot???
Page had an unexpected event occur and won't be there. I'm heading up early, I guess, and I'll find someone to shoot with.
Thanks for all the compliments on the bow, guys. It's Kevin and Sue at RER who deserve every bit of it. Not only are they awesome to work with.....they put out one beautiful product. User error is the only thing standing between me and shooting better!
Whip (Joe) also walked me through the process, and I appreciate it, pal.
Nice looking bow! They're good bows! :D
That's a nice bow! Happy days to ya!
Real nice, I have a used RER recurve comeing in the mail Monday...that means I have 2, O-Well. Your gonna love it.
VERY nice Jeff! I missed this yesterday (Still in AZ) but figured you must have it by now.
So......
How's it shoot??
HArd to say, Whip. IT shoots fine. When the arrows stray, it's operator error!
Thanks again for all of your help. Much appreciated!
Beautiful bow,enjoy Larry.

Boy, if I could only package up something that would eliminate that "operator error" thing I would be a rich man!
:bigsmyl:
Congrats on a beauty!
