I just read that hammer heads have all ready footed , is something new?

The first 11" are extra thick giving a greater foc and acts some what like a footing. This is one tough arrow. I have been putting it through its paces and it is an awesome arrow.

More material up front gives greater FOC.

can i buy footed arrows some where i would like to make some but don't have the time right now
