Post by: unclewhit on May 14, 2009, 12:21:00 PM
I've been trying to access their web page for the past few days with no luck. Anyone else having the same problem?  :knothead:

Talked to JD about this he is working on it...call him at 231-354-6345 during the day or 616-824-0059 at night.  He hopes to have it up an running soon.

I talk to him most nights so I can relay a message or two.

No need to relay any messages, I just like to daydream about owning a "Mojostik".

58" 55#@28" babinga riser, standard low grip, bacote vaneers over bamboo core, clear glass, antler tips, black and yellow B50 flemish twist string with beaver balls.  Not that I've given it much thought.        :archer:

He'd love an order right now that is for sure...he has an amazing turn time.  I've watched him build bows and it is amazing to see.  He took one out of the press the other day and I watched him cut and shape the limbs.  I also helped him glue up my riser while I was there.  He has a crazy light grain waterfall ash bow in his stock section 56" 48 @ 28" with a two-tone riser.

He has the best looking Bacote veneers I've ever seen...crazy birds-eye Bacote, simply amazing grain.

I really like it...I've only shot the longbow limbs so far and they are quick, I have a chronograph and need to check it out.  JD keeps after me to shoot the recurve limbs and I will after turkey season, I'm trying to keep things consistent.  I'm shooting Easton Axis 400 cut to 30.5" with 100 grain brass inserts and 175 grain points.  Total arrow weight is around 625 grains and they zip.

I have another 56" Kajika on order that will have Zebra/Osage riser with Canebrakes over brown glass backed and curly/burly Osage veneers under clear glass coming soon.  I got to take a small look at it two weeks ago and it was amazing.

I like the grip and the extra mass weight the bow has...along with the rear mount limbs it balances well.

You won't be disappointed!

Call him up...$100 gets you on the list.

Josh

I have a 56" KajikaStik Recurve with foam core and it's smooth and quick.  I love it.  I'm thinking about ordering a longbow.  Mine is bacote and osage riser and bacote with foam limbs!

Awesome bow!....

Alright you guys, stop teasing me, or I may have to sell some of my longbows and place an order for a "Mojostik".  :help:

That's a pretty sweet looking bow Josh.

Bowhuntingfool, do you have any pics of your "Voodoostick" at full draw? Sure would like to see em'.

Please leave JD alone. He is working diligently on my bow. I repeat no emails, faxes or phone call for at least another week. I appreciate your cooperation.

That's funny!  :biglaugh:
Onehair,
Congrats', what did you order?

A mojostik 60" Osage. Asked JD to pick out some really gnarly stuff and use his judgment as to the riser material to give me some good contrast. I'm sure I'll be pleased. He only has a 6 week turnaround so that's a good thing.

Onehair,
Sounds cool. Be sure to get some pics up for us.

Hey guys, and gals it's time for my daily "Mojostik" fix, since JD's website is down for a bit, I have to rely on you guys to post pics of your "Mojostiks" and specs.
Please hurry, I'm starting to go through some withdrawls.

I don't have any pics of my Bow at full draw. I'll try and take some over the weekend and post em up.
