Title: Hummingbird checking my arrows for nectar
Post by: lastmanout on May 13, 2009, 11:16:00 PM
Was in the back yard tonight, had seven arrows in the bail. Mine have bright pink and yellow feathers. A small dark bird flew across my target, then came back and hovered, checking the end of each arrow- it was a Hummingbird ! Did not know I had them in the backwoods. Very neat. I should put out a feeder for the little guys.

That's certainly a pleasant spectacle to observe, I'd imagine.

I get bees following me all the time that I don't mind. When a hummingbird buzzed in and checked out my ear canal I about freaked out! LOL
