Lots of fellas have asked for details on the hunt on the auction. I`ll go over it best I can.
got to www. gohuntgeorgia.com gor license info. One tip...if you buy a yearly license you can hunt a given week and if you come back before that date the next year you get to hunt on the same license as they go from year to date of purchase. Two for one...a good deal
You`ll need big game and a hunting license as well as a primitive weapon permit and a wma tag.If you come late January to Feb 28 you won`t need the big game.
I will be honest. if you come and hunt a few days in October you`ll get at least one shot probably more.During the spring I`ll say the same but January and Febuary can be tuff. You`ll get on pigs but they will be hard to get close to because of pressure and leaves being a foot deep.
I will promise to do my very best to get you a pig and you will have a super great time.
Also the hunt states one or two but one man bidding for the two man team will be best I think. We`ll be hunting PRIME river bottom land and the Oct hunt will get you a shot at a deer as well. I`ve had a hunt for friends for 7 years during Oct and last year with around 10 or so folks there were over 20 shots taken and countless encounters.October is best but I`ll go with what the winners want to do.Look forward to it.RC
I've been knowing RC for 20 years or so I guess.
You won't meet a finer southern gentleman. This will be a true Georgia Swamp Hunt with someone who knows how to get in close. Don't sit on your wallets and regret not winning this hunt.
Thanks Redneck.RC
I copied and pasted this info on your listing Robert. Thanks for the donation. St Jude hunts are always great as they come from the heart. :campfire:
:clapper:
Outtt-standing!!!
I might have to try to find that fruit jar buried out in the back yard and annie up on this one. Robert, love too get you to school me on the finner points of sneak and shoot. Don
Dang, This could be a Great introduction to huntin' the South now that we have Aiken under construction. RC, you don't go and lose them Yankees in the swamp on purpose...do ya :scared: Doc
Tippit ol boy, you'd better save up for the cookie wars.......
Tippet, I`ve never used this method before but a friend that guides hunters here told me the best way to find a lost Yank is...to wait for buzzards.lol.RC
I can confirm that RC will do his very best to find the animals, and that he is not only a great hunter but a fine man as well. One warning though - he likes to walk so you had better bring comfortable snake boots that are well broken in, and make sure that you have a practice arrow with a judo tip in the quiver at all times. And he tolerates non-southern folks like me very well.....
Actually I'm not a Yankee...Red Soxs! Doc
Anyone who Bids on this hunt will not disappointed. I have hunted with Robert several times and there is no finer man to walk the woods with. And he would be my first choice as a guide in the South Ga. pig woods!!
Sounds like alot of fun! :archer: I sure would like to go on this hunt with RC.......... ;)
