Title: Jagermeister Back Quiver
Post by: Ric O'Shay on May 12, 2009, 12:11:00 PM
I won a back quiver in a trad shoot last weekend and was trying to find out some information about the brand. It is stamped in three places "Jagermeister Quivers" Nice quiver, leather laced, machine stitched and fleece lined. Anyone know about it?

I'll try to get some pics up later.

Thanks,
Danny

Hey Danny,

Yep, the owner/craftsman is a good friend of mine - Jerry Shriver.  He now calls his company Shriver Archery Products after a certain German liquer company threatened to sue him for using their name (which by the way was a bunch of crap, as you can not have any copyright protection in two, totally dissimilar industries).  But he didn't want to incurr international legal bills, so he changed the name.  Same person, same craftsmanship, same great service.  His number is 816-537-8880 and the website is:   www.shriverarchery.com (http://www.shriverarchery.com)

If you tell him TommyBoy sent you, he'll probably raise the price by 20% :-)

Oh, forgot to mention -- he also added a bunch of new quiver styles to his line after the name change happened.  Great stuff - I own three.

Tom -
Thanks for the info. I'd tried searching with the name but, you guessed it, all I could come up with was an assortment of German whiskey.
