just got back from the beach/darlington race trip with a ?...at the myrtle beach bass pro shop they had a savanah long bow, 55# @ 28" rh. that im still drooling over!
very nice looking bow,my ? is it a good bow for the price...(right at $500.00) or can better be had for the same money or a little more?
Jim,imho I would not buy a bow from them at half that price. Not sure on how to post the link to my post about them but if you like you could do a search for Bass pro shop and find it.Wish I would have found this site sooner. By the way I notice 3Rivers Archery has that same bow for a few bucks more and can say I have had nothing but good dealings with, them hope this helps.

Vince is a fine person and makes beautiful bows - to your specs and for less than a Savanah. He offers one of the best deals in trad archery.

I think the Savannah is an excellent bow,I have two of them.Another way is,there are plenty of good used Savannah in that weight range. You can usally pick them up for around $275 to $325.
I bought a new Savannah at another big name place for 315.00 and it was brand new. It was only a couple of months ago. It shoots nice and fast, I like it.
Yep, a great bow, but you can buy a custom for less.
The Savannah is a fine bow, that will compare well to any bow out there, IMO. As stated above, you can usually find one for around $300.00, if you're patient.
