I'm looking for archery shops around the DFW area that are familiar with traditional archery. Any of you guys from the area please let me know who you've worked with and what your experience has been.

3rivers??? :)
Seriously, not much around here in the way of trad shops. There used to be a place called Smokin' Arrow that was exclusively muzzleloader & traditional archery. Bought my first longbow from that fella, really cool guy and neat shop idea/name. But alas, I guess there was not enough interest to support his efforts.
Last time that I saw the guy, he was working the archery counter at Barlows Tackle (fishing tackle shop right on 75 @ Arapaho, Richardson). But last time I went in there he wasn't around and the inventory of the archery department was drastically reduced...that's been more than a year so i don't know if they are still doing archery there at all?
Craig at Outdoor Pro Shops (Beltline & Shiloh area of Garland) has been around the archery game a long time. If you go when he's there, I'd bet that he could help with just about anything you need and they do have a small trad-section with several bows, strings, gloves, tabs, quivers, broadheads, (limited) arrow selection, etc...
Bass Pro is nada...Cabela's is muy pequeño.
Sorry, I know this isn't what you wanted to hear but there's just not much shelf space dedicated to trad-archery around here. :(
What part of DFW are you located in?
Dryad Bows is in Weatherford.

Bob Lee Archery has been very helpful with me. I'm in Midland/Odessa area. The distance is about the same. Finding a trad archery shop is a pain in my area. They don't exist.
Sadly this doesn't come as a shock. I live in Keller, right next to the Cabelas. I wasn't so much wanting to buy "stuff" as the opportunity to talk and learn from someone about things like tuning trad equipment, bare shafting, etc. Thanks anyways.

Zane,
We are in Weatherford and would be glad to talk about stuff. Give us a call before coming to make sure we are here.

Try to attend some of the Traditional shoots in the area. Denton County Archery is a traditional only club. They had a nice shoot this past weekend. There is a great shoot this coming Saturday and Sunday in Chester (about 3hours from Dallas/Ft. Worth). The Texas State Longbow Championship is being held in Ft. Worth over Memorial Day weekend. They still have open spots for shooters. Good luck and "Keep'um Sharp".
Haven't found any pure "traditional" shops in DFW. Smithfield Archery (Stan and Rhonda) can help with anything. They don't stock much in the way of traditional but a great source for arrows, lessons, and advice. There is a guy named Ray at Cabelas that is very good also.
Another subject: Where in DFW can a person go shoot 3D without entering a tournament?
If you are a member at Cowtown Bowmen I think you can use their range
Horne's archery is out in Boyd, west of Denton, sorta out by Decatur.
Zane,
I live in Keller as well. I have to agree with most of the other posts on here. There is a small range just for Traditional Shooters with 3-Ds and the like. I believe it is called "Sherwood Forest". It is where the State Longbow shoot is. If you need help shoot me a P.M.....
