Title: DAS now 3 Rivers?
Post by: Naphtali on May 09, 2009, 11:13:00 AM
I just read a thread on another sight that claims DAS Kinetic has been acquired by 3 Rivers.

Will this have any negative effect on DAS quality, service, or perceived value?

Haven't heard that one yet.  I know David's been marketing his bows exclusively through 3 Rivers for a while now.  Off what site did you get your info?

1bjd, over on TT announced the sale to 3Rivers on April 8.  I don't know how long prior to that it took place.  3Rivers has been sending out emails this week informing folks of their acquisition and announcing a new sale price on the Dalaa.

Are we going to enter Bizarroland with pricing of "pre-3 Rivers" DAS products entering the stratosphere?

I think it's too early to tell.  That's certainly not the case right now. Good used DAS Master and Elite risers are currently selling at prices much lower than the 'new' Dalaa. The only exception is the Gen I riser.  It seems to be going at a premium.

If 3 Rivers now owns DAS, it will be better for everyone.
