When is it a problem with the bow vs. the bow holder? And how do you know?
If you ever made a good shot with the bow it is the bow holder for all the bad ones.Kip
It's not to often the bow, once in awhile, but not very often.Alot of problems come from being over bowed.
It's the bow when it torques or twists when you shoot. Excessive shock may mean the limbs are unbalenced or out of tune. If the bow unstrings it self while shooting. If the string does not track centerline of the bow. If the tips of the strung bow are not centered. When the nock point is off. Usually, if it is the equiptment, it is usually the arrow. It will be too stiff or too weak. The wrong arrow and a bad nock point will give really bad flight no matter how carefully you shoot. Bill
I just blame it on my fingers lol.
Bill said it well.I will only add that some bow designs are more suited to some styles and some bow designs are more stable than others. There are however no bows that will turn a bad shot into a good one. Some will just help a good archer shoot a very small percentage better.
A world class archer can out shoot most of us with his most unstable bow. With his best shooting bow he will just beat us worse.
When you miss turkey at 10 and drill a red squirrel at 15 its not the bow.
Eric
I missed the turkey at 10. I better check on a squirrel just in case it's the bow :knothead:
Yup Okie, when I hit the squirrel I knew it was me that missed the bird a couple hours before, thats when I started cryin !! LOL
Eric
It's the bow when I miss. the bowholder if someone else misses
