Title: New Yaller Widder
Post by: Otto on May 06, 2009, 08:19:00 PM
This showed up at the office yesterday.

Many here know my affliction with BW's.  When the PA series came out I knew it was only a matter of time.  The profile of the bow reminds me so much of the old Kodiaks and Super Kodiaks.  I have several of those and love to shoot them as well.  So I broke down and had Toby, Roger and the boys in Nixa fix me up with this one.

It's a 60 incher, 50# @ 29".

Needless to say I didn't get much work done at the office yesterday.  Or last night when I got home.

Cool bow, but must you type so soon after seeing the dentist? Oh crumb, I mean please translate "Yaller Widder" when that tongue numbing Novocain wears off...  ;)

Very nice Steve. You have to spend time outside with it, Osage just doesn't look right without a good tan.

Yeah, I really want it to turn that nice honey color and tone the yaller down a bit.  If I could keep the woodpeckers off it, I'd hang it outside while I'm at work each day.

With my luck those woodboring carpenter bees would take up residence in the riser.

What?  No snake skins?!!

I'm in lust!  Its the perfect draw weight for me too - 53#@30". Is it tillered split or 3 under?  If split,  just send it on to me and order yourself another one...  LOL!     ;)

Donnie

I thought long and hard about the snakeskins but I figured I already have 2 of them skinned so I decided to go au natural on this one.
