Title: Carbon Deflection Info
Post by: ToxophilitePastor on May 04, 2009, 04:10:00 PM
I was given a number of misc. carbon arrows. Where can I go to get the spine or deflection, grains per inch, for these arrows. I want to use the dynamic spine calculator to match them to my bows. Here's what I have...
- Carbon Express Heritage 350
- Gold Tip Hunter 5575
- Blackhawk Vapor 4000
- Carbon Sidewinder 80
- Carbon Express Terminator 6075

Thanks, Mark

CE Heritage 350 is .320 spine deflection
GT Hunter 55/75 is .400 spine
Blackhawk Vapor 4000 is .350 spine
CE Express Terminator 6075 is .342 spine
Not sure about the Carbon Sidewinder 80

JRY309, Thanks!! That was a real quick reply. Where did you get the data so quickly? I'm impressed if you just had that all stored in the brain.

DO you happen to know the grains per inch? I will really be impressed if you know that data as quickly!

I have had and shoot the ones I know about, but I made a mistake on the CE Terminator 6075 it's spine is .342 and the CE Terminator 4560 is .397 spine.GPI the CE Heritage 350 are the heaviest at 12 gpi.I look for spine and how they shoot from different bows.I never really worried about gpi because there are so many ways to increase overall weight with carbon arrows.
