Would 2016s work with a 48# @ 27" 28.5 length... Mikuta Longbow
160 gr Bhs
Possibly.
Never shot a Mikuta, but my 46# Centaur likes them. I am using 175 grain field tips, arrow cut to 27.5".
Killdeer
Chances are real good.
Call me a nay-sayer, but I think 1916's would be a better fit with a 28.5" arrow length, especially if you have a 27" draw length...
You could always leave the 2016's a little long however. How is the shelf cut on the Mikuta? ...Center, +/-?
I'd agree with Curtis. The 1916's would probably be a better choice but the 2016's could work if left long enough and/or added enough front end weight.

The bow is center cut. 2016's should work fine.
a 2013 or 2112 cut at that length should work, the 2013 spines at 610 and weights 9 grs per inch, the 2112 spines at 590 and weights 8.4 grains per inch.i have used both of these arrows in bows in that weight range with great results using 150 grain heads and cut from 28 1/4 to 29".robert :wavey:   :coffee:
My widow shoots 47# at 27" and my arrows are 28 1/2" and I shoot a 125g head with my 2016s.
Just shot 2016's from my Kohannah recurve and Super Shrew. Both bows are 48-50#'s at my 26" draw. Arrows are cut 27.5" with 175 grain field points and/or Razorcaps. Works Just Fine! Now if I can put one through a turkey......

Based on my experience, the 2016's should work well with a 160 gr. BH and your setup.
