I went to Ks. a couple weeks ago. had a good hunt, saw lots of birds. no shooting though. I was sick all week in KS. came home and got sicker with a bad sinus infection.That and crudy weather and a wife with a crazy set of working hours has left me with only three mornings and no nights to hunt turkey. So with all my crying over with, I went out this morning and had a nice Tom coming across the rye field and a car stopped to look and buggered him outta site. 
   Well not to be put out by a lack of turkey shooting, I went and bought me an AMS pro reel for my bow fishing rig. While at the sports shop I got a call from my bud and he said the carp are in the horse pasture. I raced home and...

				Yep! sometimes a good deal can't be let go. 56#@30"  I shot a big male going away at about 15-16yds. I thought that was a long shot for fishing.(?) 
   I just got off the phone with my Bud, He said to hustle home from Church and we will get after em again. I might have more pics Sunday afternoon. They are rolling big time out in the floods.

   STEVE, yes! although the looking glass is about 3mi wide at some spots now. We are over 1/2mi from the river and we could go another 1/2mi to get out of the floods waters.

				Well this is what a couple hours of fun did for me today. 14 more. I had three get back down the bank of the ditch. I moved after about an hour and my first shot was a double. Sure is fun.

				Lots of fish all over Drew. I have been shooting in a friends Yard and pasture, so I will have to check with Him. If it's OK I will PM you. May not be till this weekend as I should try to get some work done in the shop.
