A short while back I picked up a Grizzly glove from Braveheart. It's thin, and has nylon weave fingertips on it similar to the BigShot gloves. I love, love, love this glove for shooting 3 under now, becuase I can "feel" the string like I used to when I used the tabs.
After shooting more and more with it, I've noticed that the nylon weave is starting to fuzz up on my fingertips. So far it hasn't effected my shooting, and I suspect it probably won't.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a glove similar to it, but with cordovan or another slick leather on the finger tips?
Thanks gang!
 :campfire:
has anyone used the big shot buffalo glove from 3rivers?
I like the duraglove from 3R. Soft, can feel the string, slick release, and wears like iron! Haven't tried any of the American Leathers gloves yet, but will in the future i'm sure!
Regards...Ken
I have used the bigshot. Great glove but can't take a deep hook with it.
Alaska Bowhunting Supply's Super Glove has the cordovan on the fingertgips. They're relatively stiff when new, but with shooting and waxing they soften up
Starting to "fuzz up" might be a sign of puberty. :D
... mike ...
I have the 3rivers "Dura Glove" and it has been looking like that for over a year now and hasn't affected its shoot-ability or gotten any worse.
It didn't take long to look like that , but........still waiting for any adverse effects.

I have the Grizzly too and it also "fuzzed up" fairly quickly. The glove shoots the same and is not showing any other sign of wear. Remember that lots of very durable fabrics are "fuzzed up" to give them a fleeced feel and appearance, and they still do not show wear or lose the desired performance.

If you have a "fuzzed" glove, hit it with an open flame such as from a lighter. It'll clean that fuzz right off and extend the life of your glove.
That's "Tim's tip" for the day! :jumper:
SlowBow hit the nail right there. I've done that once or twice to each one of my Big Shots and they now seem indestructible.
