Hello gents. Well it was a good year for us, ended up with lot of fur and hides from this past season. Now im ready to start knapping again and restock my quiver. but i need a fur quiver. So i sent off some beaver, fox, yote, skunk, and several other hides to my tanner. I was wondering if anyone had any how-to's on building a fur quiver. How bout some pictures? at teh moment im leaning toward the beaver for my quiver, because i will trim my buckskins in beaver fur...gotta have everything match! :knothead:

Hello Jordan, don't know if you've ever checked out www.primitivearcher.com (http://www.primitivearcher.com) but I was looking today and under "how to's" was a thread on how to make a quiver from a wildboars fur, showed pics and directions. Not sure if you had that in mind but just a thought. I've made quivers out of old fox furs picked up cheap at antique stores, look good most times and make good conversation pieces.I really liked the two shown here as well. Good Luck!!

I like the fox one where the fox has he's head up and the arrows go into his mouth, also seen a cat one just like it.
