Are there some avatars that you just cannot use? I have sent this one a few times to ask if I could use it and have not heard anything.

I wouldnt see any reason why that would not work. I would e-mail admin and ask them rather than ask here. Maybe they do have a reason for not putting it up for ya.
It took a while for my avator to get posted.
I think they get busy sometimes.
