Mike asked me to post a pic of his new plains-style quiver for him, so here it is :)

It's out of a nice chocolate elk with matching hand-cut laces. The lower 3" of the quiver is doubled up and then the the bottom is heavily reinforced for use with broadheads (and shearling lined). The mouth is also lined with shearling. The stiffener rod is burned along it's length and has a 6" pouch attached to it (the pic is actually from before I tied the pouch on). Lots of fringe hanging from the quiver and strap ends with antler accents all around.
I really wish I took some pics of it hanging... it looks cool with all the fringe.
Nice job Jeremy.
Beautiful!
Show off...I mean nice quiver. :D
Thats a nice one, each one seems to get better!!
Jamie,
this one isn't showing off ;)
Quote each one seems to get better!!
Ron, generally, with each new quiver I've been able to talk someone into adding something else. :) I tried convincing Mike of a design, but he pretty much knew what he wanted from the start.
I have the next three quivers planned and materials ready to go. They're each getting some bead work, ranging from fairly simple to "Oh my gosh!" A little bit of quill work on one of 'em too and some fur on another. Keeps me busy nights when I can't get out in the workshop (which is every night recently). Can't really go out pounding and grinding steel after the boy is in bed if I'm supposed to get him if he gets up!
Mike should have the quiver in his hands today or tomorrow, so he might be along in a bit.
Thanks for the comments everyone!
Very nice
