Bowdoc, I'm looking forward to seeing you up there. I'll bring you a fresh supply of Kodiak (?) for the second week. No more driving around La Tugue for those little cans of sawdust.

-
Rob just moved to Tennessee....he may not be "plugged in" yet.... :readit:
-
Yes it seemed as if he vanished off the internet.bd
-
I believe he and his wife had purchased a business here. Gotta be pretty busy. I was hoping to see him on week 1. I just hunted in Texas with him and he's a lot of fun!
-
:wavey: Hi y'all!
I'm here, but only occasionally. I only have library intraweb access at present & I can't get here but once a week at best.
I'm still trying to get everything together to make this hunt happen, but I'm only about 50% sure I'll be there. We're so busy it's not even funny & we only just got our furniture today!
If anyone needs me urgently, I can be got on 931-461-5693
-
Hope to see ya there, Rob! :wavey: :campfire: :archer:
-
I'll go along with the busy part.I know how that can go sometimes. You gotta take a little time for yourself too Rob.Like a week in the wilds of La Tuque would be great. It will do you good...bowdoc
-
TTT
-
hey Rob I saw a pic of you shooting some gar ??? now I ai'nt saying you ai'nt busy but gar shooting does not quilify for being busy.Nope gar shooting is like maybe goofing off some. Now I ai'nt saying you were goofing off ??? Just wondering because I'am kind of busy right now too and would love to do some crap shooting on the east side of our state.Thought maybe you could give me some pointers on getting out of the house ??? bd
-
Shooting crap is not at all like shooting gar. It is just another name for goofing off BowDoc, and Mrs. BowDoc knows it. :readit: :p
-
Joe your so right I think its goofing off eather way carp or gar and mrs bd would also agree with you.
I pulled it on her this morning.I showed her the pics of Rob.Told her Rob was the busiest man alive with making knives and all.Told her he just moved here from joly old England and may be joining us on the bear hunt.He was'nt sure cause he's so swamped right now with knife making and gar shooting.
Told her I was so swamped too I was gonna go do that there bow fishing for 3-4 days next week in the hot sunny weather on the east side myself. Her response was...well I can't post it all here but something to the afect of having my bow some place where the sun would not shine on it for those 3-4 days or until I got medical attention.Darn it Rob you got me busted...bowdoc
-
Gotta go with Whip on this one, shooting crap is just goofing off. Can't cover that up. :clapper:
LD
-
yap I tried again and she says carpping is goofing off and I ai'nt going no where.Man I wish we had gar...........bowdoc

Kevin and Tom, It's going to be great! I'm looking forward to meeting everyone, and hearing all the new stories each evening.
If you get a chance, try to practice those up close shots while sitting in a stand. At least for me, it adds a different twist to things and takes a little practice.
-
3 weeks from today..... :bigsmyl:
