Title: footing a goldtip 3555
Post by: Mo. Huntin on April 20, 2009, 04:12:00 PM
I am tuning my arrows with broadheads and am a little weak. I will build out my side plate but if that does not get it I would like to know what size aluminum I can foot the back of the arrow with to stiffen the arrow up a little?  I have found several conflicting reports on if you increase the brace height what it will do to the arrow I may try that also.  I just don't want to cut all my feathers off to cut the arrow down plus it woulb tougher also.

For sure Listen to Shawn, I've done one DZ. With the 2117's but never tried anything else. The 2117's work great, but I'm sure the 2216"s will work better.
