Title: carbons weights

i have used tubing for aquariums for weights in my cx 150 but i have some 35/55 gt's and bemans for a lighter weight bow that are a smaller dia. what do some of you use to weight them up if you need to.

CX 150 and GT 35/55 and Beman ICS are close to the same diameter,the ID of a CX150 is .244 and GT 35/55 & Beman ICS have an ID of .246.Thats only about a .002 difference.But Beman MFX are .204 ID,they are smaller.It depends on the bows weight,I shoot Beman ICS 500 with 175 gr. point and they weigh around 450 grs..Which is plenty for a 50# bow.

I put the weight at the front with 100gr brass inserts  an adapters u add alot weight this way at the front were its works best.. It also lets u jump up in spine to a heaver shaft sometimes

3 Rivers has weight tubes. They also have brass inserts that fit the 3555's.

iam tring to build an arrow that i can shoot out of my lb that is 47@29" with a 30" arrow. i can shoot my cx 150's but they are a little heavier than i want. tring to stay arround 500gr.

Weight tubes, brass inserts or .243 bullets.
