Could the tradgang members that use zwickey's please explain how to sharpen them. Any help or advise would be appreciated. Thank you.
Rick
Rick, if you go on the "How To - Resources" Forum, there is a thread (by Terry Green) on sharpening Zwickey's...If I remember correctly, he shows the Accusharp and sharpening with files...and it's on video!
Truangle files, finestone hone, and leather strop. Like razors...
I use my Lansky to sharpen my Deltas
I use a little triangle file
I used to put them on my Arkansas stone after the file but I don't anymore. I like the slightly saw-tooth edge
I now use a Lansky to sharpen mine, works well.
Gentlemen,
Thank you for the info and fatman I'm going to look for the video you mentioned. Thanks again guys.

I got a foot long chunk of oak and had a cabinet maker saw it down so the angles looked right. I made four of them. Then I attached two files to each one. They work real well. I also gave a couple of them away as gifts. Everyone I gave one to likes them. I put 12 inch files on them so they are easier to hold stable. Gary
I use the accusharp. Works good. I use an older one to set the angle and a new one to put the final edge on them. I think Terry did a video that shows how.

I use the paper sharpening wheels on the two blade. Scalp'n sharp!
