I am looking for some advise on covering my light colored limbs for hunting. Something that would break them up, reduce any glare, and add protection from scratching without doing any damage to the existing finished surface. I am probably leaning towards a good quality limb sock. Any experience in this or advise would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Danny J
I just apply some camo face paint (Carbomask from 3-rivers)in a kinda camo pattern on my limbs. Doesn't harm the bow, get in the way or snags on every twig, and washes off with soap and water. And it doesn't run on those rainy days (but will smear)
Camo duck tape, fake snake skins or as killinstuff said camo face paint.
onestinger limbsations are the best . :notworthy:
I've been using Limbskins from Alaskan Bowhunting Supply since 2004. They're a camo pattern spandex sleeve that slips over your limbs and protects the finish. On or off in a couple seconds, and about $15 from most suppliers. You can't beat them.

Does anyone know if the limbskins can be died black? I can't seem to find any black ones and I want a set for my little blind bow.
Thanks for the picture Jason. Those look like the Tamarak ones in Jason's picture. I hope so, that is what I ordered with for my longbow, and a pin oak for recurve. Should be able to die them Fritz, might have to do it more than once. Thanks for the help guys. Order is in.
Danny,
Yes, those are the tamarack pattern.
