Received an email from Ron the other day that my son's bow was finished. Since I will not see it for a couple more months Gregg asked him to send me some pictures of it. I can not thank Gregg and Ron enough for building my boy such a beautiful bow.
My son is in basic training right now but will see the bow when my parents head up to Missouri for his graduation.
The Riser is Texas Ebony and Osage. Limbs are foam/carbon with Bull Snake on the Back and Osage on the belly.

Chris,
That is a beautiful and functional bow. I like all your choices, including the handiness of the Bow Bolt. I got one very similar to that for my boy, except it is a Samurai Classic Hunter, so the woods are different and it has no snakeskins. My boy's bow does have the Bow Bolt, because he is also overseas (as a student) and needs to be able to easily transport the bow, much like your boy needs to do. What a great thing for a young man to have!
Allan
That bow has really everything
gorgeous bow, love the snakeskin
I am sure Chris will love it, that is a beautiful bow. He deserves it! :notworthy:
Thanks everyone.
Gregg did an outstanding job with Christopher's bow. He kept in touch with me trough the whole process which made having this bow built even more special.
Can not wait to see it up close and maybe put a few arrows through it ;)
Great lookin bow!!
Sweet looking bow, well deserved.
Very nice bow. With all the exotic woods to choose from it's still hard to beat a nice piece of Osage with a little character, like the skins as well!
Appreciate your son's service.
Chris...the only bow I've kept through the years since I starting hunting my own bow is the Super Shrew. They are just sweet. When I get around to doing "my" 1 piece it will be "similar" to the Shrew in some ways. Love that bow...your boy will be so happy.
Best to Chris in B.Camp.
R.
Ya I like it!!!
Randy,
He called my folks on Sunday...everything is going well and he is in good spirits.
Looks like he is going to try out for something called a super echo (heavy equipment, and crane operator, plus combat engineer). This will pretty much guarantee him an all expenses paid round trip across the pond.
Like all bows with Osage in them I think it is only going to become better looking with time but of course this is just me. Christopher, Dad, and myself are all Osage junkies anyway.
Thanks for the kind words everyone and I will be sure to pass them on in my next letter to him.
