Joe (nchunter) came up this morning and we were doing a little shooting and I nailed the 12 ring on my piggy target. The next shot was exactly the same as the first and now I have a 58 and 1/2 inch arrow!! Headed to Ray's the second weekend in May and I thought I was ready last week but now I know for sure!!!

Probably can't read my shirt but that is a genuine tradgang tee shirt I'm wearing!

Sweet shooting, Barry! I am going to Ray's in July, so make sure you post plenty of pics and a hunt report. Best of luck to you.

Barry, between you and Tim I'm not sure that Mike and I are gonna have a chance this time.
Barry, is that the bow you got off me? Looks like ya'll getting along fine if it is!!!
Great shooting Barry... I'm counting on ya! I'm thinking Pat and Mike will be more than ready too! Can't wait to get down there with you guys. Counting the days....
That was an awesome expensive feeling! My first robinhood after shooting some kind bow for nearly 30 years.
Dave that is the bow I bought from you and yes we are bestest of friends! Sweet shooter!!
Guys there's gonna be enough piggies there for all us and more! But you can be I'm not holding back this time and I think Tim says the same thing!
Me too Tim I'm counting down the days...20 and counting until the 2009 Hog Heaven smack down!
Hey there something seriously wrong with your arrow :knothead: lol
Great shooting
NICE!!! make some sauage I hear its great
Just a little advice when you get to Ray's camp... Unless you like buying new arrows, don't let Ray shoot after you. He only shoots those flying hatchet Grizzlies and he doesn't miss.
Have fun!

Bringing my own target, so I ought to be safe. Can't wait.
Yeah I saw Ray shoot last year and he can shoot! Hey Pat you bringing a 3d target or what? I thought about bringing too but probably just one of my foam broadhead targets.
nice shooting
Chris Kiefner
Nice shooting
Barry, I'm stuck in DC for a month so I brought a block pro target. I'm renting out someone's basement and didn't know if there was anywhere else to shoot around here. Figured I would at least be able to do some real short distance shooting on the sly. I'm bringing that target with me to Ray's. Not enough room in my car for a 3d target.
Don't want to put pins in your balloon but that arrow wil never work on SC pigs. You need something that can go around corners and up and over pine limbs. I think in a sharp left turn, that joint may break.
I'm considering a rubber compound........
Good point Biggie! But that arrow does weight somewhere around 1400 grains so I'll just shoot thru the pine limbs like they aren't even there. But I might have to use a little duct tape on that joint just in case....
Sweet Shooting!!
Guys, I've now got 5 animal targets and two blocks...with a carpet backdrop behind two of them.
You should have plenty of stuff to shoot at!
Nice robbie hood, bud!
Did Biggie just say "compound"???
Great shot by the way.
I think he meant "formulation" rather than "contraption".
I figured that Ray, just trying to make him jump a mite :D
Biggie? J U M P ??????? B I G G I E???? naaah. You ain't gonna get that response. :scared: :biglaugh:
I do beleive you are ready!
But if you have to put a second shot on a hog, you might not want to go in the same hole, it will pass through so fast it won't do any good, so be sure to pic a spot a couple of inches away... :smileystooges: :biglaugh:
