I saw a thread on putting a beaver tail pad on the grip of a bow. My hand wanted to slide a little on my Lx, so I thought I would give it a try. I didn't want to take away from the beauty of the bow, so I opted for the pad and I'm pleased with the results and it wasn't hard to do. It gives me a positve placement for my hand and stays there.

Wow!!!!! I looks like you had the grip checkered!!!!! That turned out sweet!!!
that looks great
Looks great!
Very well done!
Very very Cool
The color matches your bow perfectly.
Looks really nice.
That is impressive! (And a great looking LX)
Did you dye the tail to get that color match that well, or did you find it that way?
That looks fantastic...very well done!
Also that is one great looking bow!
I did the same on my Bear Supreme TD, although it doesn't color match as perfectly as yours does. Your bow looks awesome!! :notworthy:
I really do like the way it locks my hand in place and keeps it there. The added thickness actually made my grip fit my hand better as well, and I cut mine to act as a palm swell.
There's nothing like grabbing a piece of TAIL!!! :D

Looks great with the color match.
Nice job!!
Great idea. I have a black beavertail that I'm planning on putting on a Howard Hill. Think it will make a great stitched wrap.
Thanks Fellers,
I'm in the process of putting one on my Treadway
