Picked up a new to me RER Vortex last weekend from another Tradgang member, and I can't believe I didn't get one of these things sooner.
62"AMO, 59# @ 28", beautiful waterfall ash lams, this thing puts an arrow downrange like it's already in the target. Dead quiet and super easy to point.
I've been shooting it all week - at if I continue to do so I may need a new target. :D Everyone needs one of these things, I can understand the following.
Really makes me want to pick up one of their three piece TD's, especially as smooth as this one is.
:knothead:
I have one of their take-downs and it's everything you describe.
p.s. You can never have too many bows.
:D
PICS....
OH Yes..I've seen pics of the bow and its beautiful!! :goldtooth:
Happy for ya Chris!
Keep comin' back, wihill.......
I've owned a couple of Vortex LB's and they are great shooters for sure. Best of luck with it.
I now have a new CLX on order and trying not to think much about it. With Kevin's backlog, I should see it late in the summer. Now why did I bring that up???
Sounds like you found a beauty Chris!
Enjoy!
Chris,
Try one of the RER Arroyo 54" one piece recurves. It provides a new definition for shooting qualities for me. It will be in the treestand with me this fall. And don't be afraid of its length. It is a treat to shoot at my 28" draw length and I've read others who have had similar experiences with 29" draw lengths.
Bill
I've owned a bunch of RER bows with my little black Vortex being my keeper bow for sure. Killed a bunch of deer with it and it is my all time favotite one piece R/D longbow. Kevin and Sue are great people and stand behind their product.
it even "sounds" nice Chris! :archer: Any pics for us?
I need to get an account over on the photobucket thing... I've got them on another server (that a few of you know me on :D ), but I'm sure if I put them up they'll be over the 640x480 resolution and Terry will squash me like a bug.
Oh pooh - it's easier to ask for forgiveness anyway..

Got yourself a Great Bow there Buddy! Just bought an RER LX from Shawn Leonard... 62", 55# @ 28"... It's fast, quiet and accurate! Oh yea... Beautiful to look at too.
Good Luck To Ya!

Nice lookind bow, but Kevin has a tendancy to cut those risers on the wrong side all the time;)
Love that Waterfall Ash.
Got one more week to wait myself and I will be the happy owner of a new RER LXR takedown.
Bucksnort101 - I know! There's a 54" Arroyo in the classifieds with that exact same problem for me... shelf's on the wrong side! :D
They make a great bow. Great looking and shooting. I might mention they are also great people to deal with. I believe I have six? Can't have to many RER's Nice bow by the way.

Rodd
