Title: New "Favorite" in the House!
Post by: SpankyNeal on April 15, 2009, 03:44:00 PM
The new to me Shultz "The Favorite" arrived yesterday and man what a beauty she is, and a great shooter! Myrtle riser, Yew core, brown glass, 65@28 and 67" long. Took her out today for a while and am very happy with the speed, accuracy, and lack of shock, even with a B50 string. I only draw it to 26 1/2 so about 60lbs, but boy she will flat through a 700gr arrow, especially for a string follow bow! I couldn't be happier, and need to thank dragonheart once again for a great purchase - he's a heck of a guy to deal with!

Congratulations Ken,

You have excellent taste in fine bows! I'm actualy flying to Montana in less than 2 weeks, to pick up another longbow from the master bowyer John Schulz. I too, have just purchase a "Favorite", mine is four lams of bamboo and a myrtle riser 67 inches long and pulls 56 lbs. @ 27 inches. I can't wait! As an aside, I'm also comming back to the UK with some of John's personal hunting arrows, how cool is that!      :bigsmyl:

Hope you enjoy yours as much as I will enjoy mine.

Regards

Paul
