It looks like it has blood on it's rump could it be she had a fawn?

That or it looks to me like its just a patch of brown hair. Very neat photo for sure.
No, it is red you can't tell in the pic. you can save it and zoom in on it.
Could be, the time of year is right.
Ya its defenitly blood, most likely just gave birth like you said
Cool deer. Interesting pic.
Assuming the pic is from April 13 (yesterday), breeding and conception would have been Sept. 24 (+/- 2 days) last year. Is that a plausible breeding date for the picture location?
Isn't it kind of early for fawning? Ours typically start in mid to late May.
Maybe she works for the Post Office.
Killdeer~but I'm not bitter!
I'm thinking along the same lines as Forester and Killie.
I saw a deer track today that wasn't even a inch long. Some of the older does have their fawns in April. They are the first to come in heat in the fall.
Maybe they do fawn earlier up north. They come into rut before our southern deer, right? That would make sense.
Killdeer
It seems pretty early to me most of the fawns around here drop in early May.
Seems to early for fawns up here. We usaly dont see any till about mid May.
particularly spicey batch of refrieds?
yes defenitly early to be having them but I have seen fawns in april before in WV
If she bred early, she'll drop early. Its only 2 weeks till May.
Ya never know might have been a miss carry
I'm not too sure about it being early. Growing up in PA, trout season usually opened the second week in April and it was common to run into fawns by the following weekend. A week or two early is nothing abnormal.
I'll keep an eye for a fawn, I go by there about 3 times a week and she is there almost every time.
Looks like a llama to me, Body looks strange to be a deer.

No it's definitely a deer, with a goiter, and a bleeding ulcer. Poor thing.
That's not a goiter. She has the mumps.
:p
Mid-may is about the earliest you will see in most northern states. Where I live in NY most fawns drop the end of may and first week of June. No clue what the red patch is. Shawn
Just zoomed in on it and I am not 100% sure it is even a deer. The body and neck and head funny. Shawn
dont you guys see the fawn in the pic? its right there
looks like an alpaca to me!
lol, if thats a deer it sure doesnt look like it in that picture.
I'm actually very ashamed of any selfbowyers for failing to point out the osage trees behind her. I see 20 bows in that pic.
looks to me like she misscarried and the tail is up like the baby is stuck. j.m.o. she may need help.i'm no whitetail expert but after blowing up the pic and cleaning it up with my handy dandy pentax acdsee it looks like a deer to me.
