Well......I just ordered a 45# ACS-CX. I have previously owned 41, 45, & 52 lb ACS-CX. Just wondering how many GPP folks that shoot them are shooting.
45 @ 28 gt 35/55 100gr brass insert 125 grain magnus stinger 2 blade...
I shoot a 66" ACS CX(16" riser). Drawn to 58# at my 31" draw. Currently shooting Axis 300's with 100 gr brass insert and 125 grain head. That arrow is 31 3/4" long and weighs 590. For broadheads I'm shooting either Magnus Stinger 4 blade, or Steel force sabertooth longs. I have another set of limbs that is 54# at my draw. They take a Axis 340 set up the same way as above. I like to stay in the 10gpp range.
Mostly I shoot CE Heritage 250's 30.5" long and woodmans on long adapters, with wrap and fletched, they are right at 550 grains. I do have a heavy arrow set up that I use a Heritage 350,100 grain brass inserts, 125 grain woodsman on a 125 grain steel adapter and it get me just over 750 grains and hits like a sledge hammer and flys like a dart. I haven't run across anything here in Iowa though, that is tough enough to need that setup yet. But if I ever get to chase an elk I think it would work very well.
My A&H is 64" 49#@28" and I have an extra set of limbs from O.L. that are 66" and 50#@28". I draw 29" and am setup with a clicker on pretty much everything I shoot now.
I shoot 60# for targets and 65# hunting. I try to keep the arrow weight around 9 gr./in. But it doesn't seem to matter to the bow. It will shoot almost any arrow (wood, carbon, aluminum) at any realistic weight equally well. I have also shot many combinations with broadheads. Again they all flew very well by my observation.
66" 58# 29" 2216 with a 125 gr. Phathead. 540 grains.
64" 50# 29" 2213 with a 125 gr Phathead. 465 grains.
I like to shoot right at 190 fps.
target set-up 50# @ 33" easton redlines 460 spine. 7 gpp 225 fps
hunting set-up 56# @ 33" beeman ics hunter 300 spine. 10.5 gpp 190 fps. 300 grains up front, abowyer broadheads.
Adcock 51 at 28, A&H 51 at 28 shooting CE Maxima .500 spine and 160 gr Snuffers or 160 gr STOS (depending on what I'm hunting) Using long adapters for 455 gr arrow.
Also have a set of 59 lb limbs for the Adcock. Hardly ever shot 'em.

GOOD to see you hanging out here again GREG!!!! Don and Skyler
Mine is 64" 49@27. I'm shooting Carbon Express Thunderstorms cut to 27 1/4" with 125 gr up front. I haven't decided on a broadhead yeat. I'm a 8 gpp kind of guy.
66 inch one piece Adcock CX.58#s at 30 inches.Arrows I am shooting are 2020s and 2117s cut to 30.5 to 31 inches and 145 grain and 125 grain heads.Pretty heavy arrows and shoot well.I like the 2117s and would like to try some 2216s soon.
I shoot a 50# CX and draw about 48#. Using the ABowyer Brown Bear with an Osage footed cedar arrow. Total arrow weight is 665gn.
Thanks Guys. I'm debating on how many GPP I want to shoot. Around 9 GPP moves my effective range out a little farther, but around 11 GPP I shoot better out to 20 yards and I know it will hit harder. I'm worried less about penetration on whitetails and more about which setup makes me most effective.
i SHOOT 51 AT 30 64 INCH BOW FULL LENGTH BEMAN 340 MFX FULL LENGTH WITH 225 ON THE HEAD END FLIES GOOD
For hunting I shoot 55 # @ 28 " bow , cx heritige 350 with 300 gr. up front ,725 gr. total weight.
HAven't set up a hunting arrow yet, right now I'm shooting 3-D with a Blackhawk Vapor .550 spine shaft and 145 grain heads. Flies awesome.
