Title: Help with some carbon arrows please
Post by: T.L on April 11, 2009, 11:30:00 AM
Hello all,
I am looking for some recommendations for a carbon shaft for a Warf recurve. The bow has foam/carbon limbs and is center-shot, and is 35@28. I draw about 27.5 and use this bow strictly for target shooting.

Would Epic 600's be the right place to start?

thanks,
 Tom.

You would have to shoot them to find out.  It takes flinin' an arrow or two and seeing how they fly.  I shot GoldTips for several years and got them to fly well out of just about anything.  They make some fow low bow weights like that.  Currently switched to Easton Axis and love them.  Weight tubes don't seem to work well in the Axis though.  If you are just target shooting though, you shouldn't have to worry about that.

You are going to need lighter spine than .600 unless you add a lot of point weight and that isn't what you want for just targets.

A Beman ICS Energy .690 or .780 would work depending on point weight you use.I would stay with a light fast arrow for target work.
