Picked up this Griffin a few months back. Great shooting bow and the TradGanger I bought it from thought the riser was Bubinga. Tamo Ash limb's but it looks more like Tulipwood to me. What do you think?

I would say Tulipwood also.IMHO
I'd say tulipwood as well. Looks good...Mike
Yep, sure does. Great bow!
Tulipwood. No doubt about it. watched this one being born at Johns shop. very sweet.
Two Tracks, tell me more.
Not much to tell really, I went to Johns one day, drooled on a stick of tulipwood and then a few days, weeks month or two, can't remember for sure, later I went back and drooled on the bow. It is nothing more than a typical Griffin. And by "typical" I mean SWEET! Johns bows are very nice. you have a great bow. I visit with John fom time to time and feel blessed to see and feel his work in all stages. Top shelf no-doubt.
We have been friends for many years and he is to blame(in part) for my choice of careers. Thanks John! No, really THANK YOU. Oh! I forgot, John does not have a computer.
Chuck.
Tulipwood and osage, the 2 most beautiful woods there is, in my opinion.
Well,
I have an idea, if you would like to send it to me I'll have it evalauted and back to you after Jan 2010.
