I have a JoJan single fletcher, LW helical, and it was working fine (3 fletch) and now it doesn't space the feathers evenly. Get the cock feather indexed, and it clicks 2 more times, but 2 feathers come out close together. Almost like a 4 fletch but it's not on the 4 fletch and you don't get 4 clicks. Any ideas besides throw the thing out and get a new one?
Thanks
sam :( :( :help:
Mine has done the 2 feathers close together occasionally also, I started looking every time before I put a feather on. I think the little ball that goes in the dimple sticks sometimes  Sorry I don't have the definitive answer, hopefully someone will know what is up?
Take the nock reciever assembly off and check the ball bearing and nock reciever. Probably got some glue down in there, or the ball is shot.
the bb ball is got glue into the nock receiver and or is out of the cycle....I took it apart cleaned and then lubed with WD40....
OK Mine was sticking a bit. Took it apart and lubed it with string wax and it is not sticking now. Maybe it just needs to be cleaned better?
I'm just wondering do you guys turn the thing in one direction only or set the cock feather, go left and back and then right??? Maybe you just can't go one way. But I'm sure it worked in one direction before.
thanks
sam
I found on some of my arrows that the nock was rotating in the arrow as I "turned" to do the next fletch.
My solution has been to take the arrow out of the contraption and turn the nock reciever by hand...and wiggle back and forth to check that it's really in the notch.
^^^might be a bandaid fix and it needs a good cleaning like yours but this has worked for me.^^^

I've had a multi for thirty years. 90% of the time I just keep turning it to the right, but there occasssions I don't. It should not matter at all with a ball and detent system.
Thanks for the info, I am picking up a JoJan today.
Well clean it up first.
The arrows are wood and the nocks are glued so the nock isn't turning that one thing for sure. The nock is looser than the slot so have to be sure it settles down in there.
I've tried the turn by hand with the arrow out method but it stops in the same wrong place.
Real shame since it was doing a great job. I used to fletch arrows while I was on a conf call and using fletch tape, I could do a dozen on one call. :bigsmyl:
see....thats what ya get for sending it to florida for spring break..... :biglaugh:
Picked up some bad habits or worse. I get you. :banghead:
OK I did another arrow this time setting the cock feather first, then a turn left to put the second feather, back to the cock feather and a turn right to set the third feather. This worked. Had to listen carefully since there was like a bump at the next stop and a little click that was not exactly the same as the bump. I relyed on the click.
So I got even spacing this way. Not the best but better than it was.
