This is one of the best trad events in the state. It is definitely one of the "must attend" shoots.
Also, you will need to get some sunshine for that osage to change color too.

That bow is beautiful. I am glad you posted that.

Lookin' GOOD, Larry
Congratulations...
Those guys at BW can tell you about aging that riser to match the limbs. :clapper: :goldtooth:
Very Sharp looking bow!!! :notworthy: What are the specs??
Bill
Nice looking bow, I love me some osage. I would think the riser will match the limbs in short order. I could be wrong, but I would think that the limbs will age/darken slower because of the fiberglass. Either way, pretty bow...Mike
specs= 62" 56@30....glad to have her and shes allready part of the herd...thanks everyone.

Man Larry that ones a dandy. Great looking bow !!
:) Very smooth looking... :)
thanks
shot the psax today, first time...620gr arrow 56#...185fps three arrows same speed all three...very smooth and virtually no vibration or shock of any kind.cannot believe how smooth this widow is..must be the boo limbs. :jumper:
Did you check with the BW guys about the limb cores? Just asking as normally their osage limbs have osage limb cores as well (at least the recurve limbs). When I ordered my cocobolo/osage PTFX they said that the limbs would be all osage...Mike
That osage in the handle will age nicely. To speed up the process let it get exposed to sunlight as much as you can. I had an osage bow that I would lay on the couch in front of big windows.
Better yet, take it outside and shoot it every chance you get! Just don't leave it in the sun in a parked vehicle or where it can get hot.

Elkherder
That is sweet. I ordered a PAX Osage. I already have 5 BW takedowns and thought I'd try a 1 pc. With all the different woods out there I just wanted plain ole osage.....primarily for the gorgeous honey color it eventually turns. I'll post pics once it arrives.
Enjoy the new toy!!!
