Bob Morrison made the suggestion that there ought to be a thread with a list of traditional archery products made in the USA. I thought that it was a great idea so here goes.
Eagle's Flight Archery only sells items on our website that we make here in Mebane, NC., USA. We try to use leather and other products that are made here including genuine cordovan from Horween in Chicago.
Items that we make are a full line of bow quivers, armguards, tabs, bowtip protectors, string keepers, side plate/rests, etc.
Traditional Adventure DVDS...MADE IN THE USA!

Dryad bows if you count Texas as the U.S.

George, You make it sound like they're trying to take advantage of people bud....Why?
Can you name a wealthy bowyer?
They're just trying to make a living like the rest of us. If you can't afford it, then you don't buy I guess. Just like cars, houses or anything else.....
Geeezzz Louis......lets keep this on topic and constuctive for ALL American trad companies please!!!

Back to the task at hand.I believe in the traditionl archery comunity,we are blessed.I think most of our equipment is made in the U.S.A.Sure some is not,but you usualy dont have to look to hard to find what you want that is.As far as the basics (bows, arrows, quivers and such).
Bill
I like this thread. I reckon my leatherwork stuff is all USA. Whenever I see leather stated as "imported", I look around for other leather. Actually, I try to purchase stuff when I can, made in my home state. Not always the case, but I think it appropriate to help those closest to home when at all possible.
Just being neighborly.............

KME Sharpeners
Made in the USA from American parts... lifetime guarantee.
Many of you have heard me say this before but, I'll go bankrupt before we send one dime or one job out of this country...
Exception: I recently found a broadhead file that is absolutely incredible. I'm trying to get some in stock but, they're custom made in Austria and that's the only place I can get them.
Ron
Broadhead manufacturers: Ace, Zwickey, Eclipse, Grizzly, Zephyr (and a lot more I'm sure I overlooked).
Great Northern Quivers.
Easton/Beman arrows.
I was told that there was only one carbon arrow shaft manufacturer now left in the USA. Anyone know the facts on that?
I asked my Easton rep about "made in the USA" and I thought he told me Easton was made here. I can't find anything in the Easton litterature about it.
This year the 3Rivers Archery catalog marks every item that is Not made in the USA.
Also, as you see from our new ad here on TradGang, we have our "Traditional Only" Gear that is made in the USA and exclusive to 3Rivers.
Arrow Dynamics carbon arrows.
BisonGear Packs and Accessories all made by hand right here in the USA!
Arrow Master quiver from Safari Tuff. The finest product of it's type ever developed and made by a great guy with top notch customer service.
1 The turkey feathers I use. 2. The cedar shafts I use. 3. The Duco cement I glue them together with. 4. AmericanLeathers, the glove I use.
I was told there was only one arrow company still 100 percent made in USA...Arrow Dynamics...What about boots????????
Maddog bows (bamboo for my limbs comes from elsewhere, for those that split hairs)
Carbon Tech carbon shafts are made in the USA
As far as boots go I think some Danners are still made in Oregon. At least the ones I bought a few months ago still say " Made In America" on them.
American made boots include Chippewa, Carolina, Double H, Justin, Matterhorn, Corcoran, Wolverine, Weinbrenner, Friedson Brothers, Rocky, Wesco, and some others. You need to check the labels though, some models are assembled outside the USA.
Everything on my site is made in the USA!
www.shrewbows.com (http://www.shrewbows.com)
This list is growing entirely too slow... :(
I brought them up in the earlier post Day One camo
Brothers of the Bow - Books and videos written and produced in USA. I'm not sure about the components of the Main Beam Flashlight though. Mike
Note:(our Canon cameras that we film with were made in Japan, not sure if there was another option)
I don't believe that we should eliminate all foreign goods from the USA. Also, we should not let our domestic industries go down the tubes as we buy cheap goods from third world countries. A balance of trade with other countries is good, but we should never allow what happened with the textile industry or the steel industry, or now the auto industry, etc. The USA should never allow the demise of any of it's manufacturing industries. (If we give up anything let it be lawyers or politicians. If we lost half of them we'd still have more than enough.)
I can think of a lot of quality products in archery/bowhunting that are made here. I'm going to stick with NC manufacturers like James Parker, Mike Treadway, Ben Graham, Bill Stroupe, Don Ward (that's me), and others that just don't come to mind right now. Maybe we need a catagorized list of dealers and retailers selling traditional archery goods manufactured in the USA. Also, I think that we should give credit to any retailer that shows the country of origin in their catalogue.
"Travel light with Eagle's Flight".
Carbon Tech is now made in china.

I believe in buying the best wherever it comes from as long as it is a friend country and trading partner of the US of A! We need each other! That being said, let's add Woodman broadheads.
Curveman, I think that we should support our domestic industries and provide an even playing field, but not protect them with excessive tarrifs or trade policies. However,if we continue to let China and other countries take our industries through low wages, prison labor, child labor, and lax safety and environmental regulations, then we will end up with a worse situation then the current economic mess we are now in.
We need balanced trade with other countries and not the one sided trade we have now. I know first hand what it's like (after 40 years in textiles) to have your industry die out around you.
As I believe I said before, we have had opportunities to have our products made outside the country but declined to even discuss it. It's easy though for a company to move it's manufacturing off shore to take advantage of cheap labor, etc. I don't think it's done to make a better product.
"Note:(our Canon cameras that we film with were made in Japan, not sure if there was another option)"
What model of Canon do you guys use? Thanx

Also, Raven makes excellent POC shafts here in the states as well as natural barred turkey feathers.
Haven't seen a pair of Rocky boots made in America since a good friend got laid off in Nelsonville. I emailed Rocky, hope I'm wrong.
Eclipse broadheads and Screaming Eagle treestands
Rocky's are made in China last pair I was going to buy. Redwing Irish setters used to be made here but I think they also are made in china, even though they are a redwing company. :( :banghead: :(

Classic Bob, its become a sad state here but I think the trad world is one of the few where its a little easier to find quality products made in the USA! I believe all of the best bows are the ones made here.As for boots Russel boots. Bill
Great tread, as a american worker that just lost his job to out of the country trade!! :clapper:
Muzzy's are made right here, in fact all of our products except our blades are made here at our plant and we have 2 suppliers for our blades. I is US and the other is European, just because of the qaulity of their blades. We use those blades interchangeably in most of our broadheads. Some of our bowfishing components are made by other companies but with the exception of our spincast reel, all of those are US manufacturers. I tried with the spincast reels, but there are no US manufacturers of any spincast reels available. Mark

Hey wingnut I own a house down there in Texas. Heck you need a passport to go down there! Just remember anything other than Lonestar is an import.LOL Hey as far as quality is concerned I will by what fits my needs. I try to buy local whenever I can, it sometimes takes some looking. I am not against buying from another country as long as it is good stuff. Luckily in Trad stuff a lot of it is made right here.

Safari Tuff
A very short list, but I'm glad that most everything I hunt with is USA made.
Lone Wolf treestands.
Thanks Centaur! Guess, I missed this thread.
Every business person I speak with about Safari Tuff, tells me to have everything made offshore, to which I answer...that's not what Safari Tuff is about and I still believe we can be competitive with imports.
Rod, not only competitive but great quality too!
Besides that, we get to talk to an American for customer service!
Ray
The Feathered Shaft custom wood arrows, along with the other wood arrows makers here.
