They will be in Rutland VT with a trailer of bows for some turkey hunting on May 19th and 20th. Hunting only goes until noon. So if anyone would like to come chase the birds, shoot some fine bows and meet some great folks, let me know.
There will also be some videoing going on during the hunting. :)
Folks from elsewhere can some also. ;)

You lucky dogs!! Sounds like alot of fun. By the way there bows are pretty good too. :biglaugh:
Bill
I hope Bill draws another New Mexico elk tag this year and brings a trailer full of goodies out here!
You know I will be there, I bet we know a few places that some birds hang out. I wonder if ewe should keep it flat or tackle some mountians, you and me should hopefully be tagged ut by then :bigsmyl: I can't wait. Chris
Def want to come play with the bows.
If this season is anything like last year,I'll still be working on Bird 1 by then.... :knothead: :knothead:
I may be up for that! Izzy get in touch we could ride up together!! Shawn
Come on up Shawn.
Don't have to hunt to play with the bows folks but anyone who wants to do both speak-up so everyone can be partnered with a local.
Who else wants to play?
Hey Folks, we will be coming strait from the Baltimore Bowmen shoot. So we will have bows with us,anyone is more then welcome to shoot any bows I have.
Sorry Josh no elk tag this year. :(
BIll
Sounds like fun, but I have no way of knowing if I will be working by then. The Gov keeps changing the opening dates and which parks are getting the axe...
Would love to try and make it...
Shawn, get at me soon and we'll plan on it.Meet me at my house and Ill drive. My cousin Ray is coming.Hopefully I'll have the double bearded bird thats keeping me up at night stowed safely in the freezer.
Have Bill and Tracy ever hunted spring turkey in VT?
We have fun with the black flies...
If you head out loaded down enough they MAY not carry you away. ;) :scared: :saywhat:
BLACK FLIES!!!!! I have heard thos things are evil. Will a thermocell take care of them or not?
I do still have a flack jacket left over from a past life if necessary.
Bill
Thermocells are worth there weight in gold times 10. BRING IT!!!! I can't wait to meet ya and see what ya got in the trailer. Chris
Anyone else?
I'll have to miss this one. I have flyfishermen booked the whole time, gotta make some $$ to pay for the bow habit :readit:
Dave my dad said since I will ot be able to get out of work early most likley he will have Bill, Tracey and if you can make it at 4am at his house and set ya'll in blinds that we can have preset in some scouted areas like the food plots of log landing, he says just let him know he has all the time in the world and will probally be tagged out atleast here by then. Chris
Sounds like a plan. We may have another special guest coming from Baltimore. Working out some details hopefully before the weekends over. ;)
I hope they don't have a recurve thats 62" with foam cores, that would be bad for me especially with snake skins, right around 48-52 @28". BAD, BAD, BAD!!!! :bigsmyl:
Maybe you can talk them(or your parents) into making it a wedding present. :D
So who's in?
Jim Belcher of Belcher bows is going to try to come play when Bill and Tracy come. Looks like he'll have some bows to try also. :D
Next Tuesday and Wednesday is when a trailer load of SXTs will be here for the trying.
