has anybody received there new blackwidow bow lately and when did you order it.i ordered mine 6 weeks ago and i'm itching at the bit to get it.
From what Roger says, usually 7 to 9 weeks. Unless you order a "started bow on the rack" .Then you can get one in around 3 if there's one to your liking.
Mine took 11 weeks but, there were issues getting the wood I wanted (their supplier strung them out for about 7 weeks). So I changed my order to a different model with different woods and they pushed it through in about four weeks. The folks at Black Widow are great to work with. They always go the extra mile. Glen
I just finished holding my breath for 8 weeks. Monday starts the 9th which is the end of the invoice's 6-9 week estimate. I'm turning purplebut think I can hold out for one more week. The hardest part is not having ANY progress updates.
i ordered mine about 8 weeks ago, and they said there sending it out next week.......... is it next week yet :bigsmyl:
Mine was ordered at Kalamazoo and I got it 5 weeks to the day from ordering it. I picked the veneers from one of the dealers out there...Mike

David
It's a bright light too.
Just made the "deal" with "Flt Rok Shtr" today for his new 09 PMAX :wavey:
Black Widow is located some 30 miles from my wife's parents house. I visited the shop in Nixa and was given the red carpet treatment. After a personal tour of the back room and a viewing of the "secret book", they just about forced me to shoot every bow in the front of the shop. Since my wife took my credit card before going to the shop, I have yet to order my bow. But, I can fully understand being impatient to receive an ordered bow. Keep the faith, and remember that a watched pot takes a long time to boil. Good Luck! Please post pics when it comes.
My PLX is due in a couple of weeks. This will be my third one, sometimes it takes 7-12 weeks. This one will be 11 weeks for me by the time I get it...The wait is worth it
Isn't there a song that says the waiting is the hardest part??
I'm right at the 4 week point on the PSR III I ordered, hoping that it'll show up in time to get it out a time or two in turkey season.
I ordered a plx made out of kingwood, I'll be sure to put up some pics when it comes
Went to Nixa 2 weeks ago, shot a bunch of bows. Shot a 54" PSR 50#er that was one of the sweetest little shooters.
A 74@28 PSR that made me wonder how anyone could sit in a stand for hours and pull that thing.
Found hanging on the rack a 61@28 PSR11, made a call to a coworker who was looking and left with it for him. The whole time I was there Toby helped me, Roger was one the phone (which never quite ringing) Widow workers were bringing out bows to show them. They are a great company to deal with and how they can stay busy now shows how good of bow they really build.
Patience Grasshopper----I have had to wait 4 times now and it doesn't get any easier. Unless the boys at B.W. have a problem with the weight or the finish they are usually right on--or sooner with their time estimates. I think you should start saving now--for your next purchase.
LOL.
I've ordered two BW's. First came in 7 weeks and the last (PGA 50th Anniv) came in at exactly 9 weeks.. Just have fun getting ready counting the days.

I was in the shop last week getting a string and they had bows and limbs all over the back shelf getting ready to be shipped out. They are always on the phone talking with customers or showing a store customer a bow or some cool new item. Those guys stay busy most of the time they are open. But they are never so busy that they won't stop and chat with ya....especially if you take em some donuts. :)
I'm nearly up to four weeks on the limbs I ordered to get my (Don's) old SAIII back in action. Getting a new (or in this case half-new) bow in the mail is such a wonderful thing! I'm making some arrows in the meantime.
thanks guys i feel alittle better. this will be my first BW i will send pics when it comes in.
Can't believe this thread just came up??? Couldn't find any used PSA2 limbs for sell or trade in my weight so I just ordered a set about a hour ago. 60 inches and 46@28... should be about 44# at my 27 inch draw. Think that'll be enough for whitetail??? Am shooting now 54@27... but after about 5 shots my group starts opening up...
I got mine in 6 weeks but you know I can't shoot it so why don't you just come and get it. Victor
GasN up the truck! Be there in less than an hour...Ooopps what's the address?? :goldtooth:
I have never been disappointed by a Black Widow...new or used.Fine bows and fine folks.Really would like to try one of their longbows.RC
