been seaching for stringmakers without luck.
i've been shooting dacron since i've been shooting and would like to try some D97.

10 strand 2 bundle flemish with padded loops for my 54# recurve.
same for my 70# recurve only 12 strand.

just want to try it out without buying spools of material and risking not liking it.
if i like it then i'll go ahead and make my own in future.

can someone out there whip some up for me?
i'll send you some $ of course.

want to see what this skinny string thing is about.

Ozy, I would make you one, but I just learned my self how to make them, I don't think my work is up to snuff yet.

I can highly recommend "S2 Bowstrings" Ryan he is out of Hawaii and is a cool dude.

clint, there are a number of great stringmakers who we are fortuante to have as trad gang sponsors, and i'm sure all will ship to oz. just check out the sponsor spin menu at the top of most every page!

thanks. i found the sponsors. but can't find anyone who sells D97. not even three rivers has it. :banghead:

If you can't find anyone, I can twist a couple strings up for you. I do have D97 but the only colors I have is red and black. I couldn't except any payment though, as I just make strings for myself and for friends, never to sell. PM me your address, bow lengths and how many additional strands you want in the loops for padding. On my own strings, I usually pad 2 extra strand of each color in each loop and I pad with B50. Also let me know if your limbs are really wide and I will make the loops a little bigger. Some of the older bows, don't have as much limb taper as the new recurves.

Sounds like you are set, with Bert's help.

If you need strings, Chad, from Champion Bowstrings, is a sponsor on here, and makes excellent strings.

If you want D-97, you may have to order from BCY Fibres (www.bcyfibers.com) directly. Kustom King may carry BCY products, too.

Bought my D97 last week from The Nockign Point in the smaller 1/8 lb spools. I think they are a sponsor here.
