Cool photo, by the way.
I met Val at your first Buckhorn Shoot Tom and that was a good 15 years or so ago. Val was a real good guy who always had a smile, a good story and always went out of his way to help fellow archers and aspiring bowyers..
He also made one heck of a nice "Branch Bow" too! Remember that Tom?
I'm saddened to learn of his passing and will truely miss his presence..
I do remember some of the branch bows he made in fact I have the majority of his archery stuff, staves, laminated bows,self-bows ....and some of the BRANCH staves he harvested ready to be worked into shooters !! He is missed for sure.
Ya know him and Fred Bear are slinging arras, God bless him and his family , from Louisiana way....peace...Mark
