Where do you guys find woody weights? I would like some more weight up front on cedar arrows.
The great northern quivers website has them.
There web site is Woodyweights.com .
Very cool product, good people to deal with too.

I wondering about the fit of these Woodyweights. I am adding a 75 grn behing 125 grn tips and it seems the fit could be a little better? I'm using 11/32 and the taper doesn't go in all the way. How is everyone elses looking? Can anyone post a pic?

Contact Mike Deppe directly, he'll help you out and tell you everything you need to know about the fit. Great guy, very helpful. Go to woodyweights.com and click on contact.
We will be at many shows this summer with woodyweights, info on website of where to find us or call us at. Hope to see all of you.
They are a good idea...just need some adjustments in sizing. I have 11/32" wood shafts and got the ones for those. But when you go to glue on a 11/32" broadhead it sticks out too far...doesn't seat back far enough I don't think.
Are you suppose to use 23/64" glue-on heads with the 11/32"??????
I use them w/ lighter heads to get them to 200 gr and love them. they fit great and are easy to use. strong steel too.
Snag: I have not had a problem with:
zwickey
grizzly
snuffer
woodsmans
They seem to align perfectly and are very strong with a strong bond. make sure there isn't too much glue. the tolerance is tight so you really dont need much
I agree about the tolerances Overspined. They do fit tight...but with STOS and Abowyer heads they don't seat down to the collar...?
On the smaller shafts, cut a little bit off the shaftend so they don't bottom out..also works great on an arrow that broke close to the broadhead (where most arrows break) lets you re-use the shaft..Mike will help you out. Will wokr with any broadhead..call hhime. Check out the sitefor number woodywieghts.com. Woodyweights is one word
The woodyweights are a great product! I spoke with Mike at the Kalamazoo expo and he was a great guy with alot of knowledge.
For those that are interested,Braveheart Archery has another way to add weight up front, it is listed under the Surewood shafts.
