Hi, I'm using the Dynamic Spine Calculator and it seem to be a great difference between an arrow shelf cut and other to choose the better arrow for a determined bow.
How can I make an accurate measurement of it ???
Thanks for the help :help:

Sorry I mean...bow shelf NOT arrow shelf !!! Sorry :notworthy:
ttt
I always wondered that myself, I think I know a way, but it may not be the RIGHT way...
Up it goes
The eye and brain are great tools. You can just eye ball your sting onto your limbs until centered and see where it is on the riser. You can put some tape on the riser to put some marks and then eye ball it again until you get it then measure from the mark to the face of the riser. You can also put some tape on the limbs and measure references to center of the limb if you want so you know you are lining up right. I think you could even mark the limb centers and add a sting taped if you want two stings to put a straight edge on.
are u making a self bow ?? the more wood u remove
from the riser the weaker it will be in that
area. I make reflex-deflex bows and i only make
the shelf as wide as the arrows i'm shooting...my design....if the arrow is spined right archers
paradox takes care of the rest.i think u want a
center shot bow tho....
