Do any of you use min wax stain and sealer on your arrows and not use laquer to seal? Does this work for you? Thanks!
I have, and it worked just as well as bohning products. Only thing is to make sure you use compatible glue. Fletchtite will not work with minwax, I believe I used crazy glue gel and duco with good results.
All I use in Minwax products. I use their stains, and fast drying polyurethane. Works great and has held up really well for me. It's a whole lot cheaper than gasket laquer too.

I use minwax polyurethane to protect my spray painted crows on my carbons. Incredably durable but Fletchtite glue won't bond for me either. I now use goat tuff and have not lost a feather in over a year on the same 11 arrows.
I have used it also with good results. I used fletchtite and it comes off sometimes. I now have the fletching tape to try. I just wanted to know if others besides myself were using min wax products.
I use minwax sealer, with or without stain, and top coat with either minwax polyurethane or gasket lacquer. I use superglue for the fletching and nocks, Fer-l-Tite (sp?) for the points. Superglue takes longer to dry on gasket lacquer, duco does well too.
I use minwax products Ducco works great with it
Minwax stains are some of my favorites, but I always cover with a clear finish. Their fast dri oil base polyurethane is very good.
Yep, Minwax works very well. Use 3 coats applied with a foam brush and steel wool between coats. Put wraps right over the finish and then use Fletch-tite to attach feathers.
I use min-wax polyurethane and Fletch-tite platinum with no problem with feathers coming off. I have used the best glue tester available my 90 pound Lab Rooster. Blake
Always used Minwax poly's w/ duco cement.I've tried fletch tape but didn't adhere as well as Duco. Also,I've found alcohol based leather dyes gives a far more richer results in staining.
I just happened to buy some shafts from the above Don Stokes and they are fantastic! I did use Minwax Stain and seal and they came out great---1Longbow
