Title: doin better
Post by: broketooth on March 31, 2009, 07:40:00 PM
i guess ive mentioned several times that i own a 1969 bear k- mag. ive owned this bow for several yrs , and have never reall been able to master it. than ive asked questions about the nock point on the string. well ive since have made an adjustment, and have started shooting it alot more. ive beenpretty satisfied with the results. well this afternoone i got to shooting and this is the best group ive shot with it to date. the following pics are the same group @ 20 yrds        (http://i602.photobucket.com/albums/tt101/broketooth/IM000738.jpg) (http://i602.photobucket.com/albums/tt101/broketooth/IM000740.jpg) (http://i602.photobucket.com/albums/tt101/broketooth/IM000739.jpg)i know i can still use some improvement but im liking the results so far

Nice.

To get better groups than that I have to shoot only one arrow.

What did you make that target from in the blue part? Do you have a board in teh back?

thanx fella's. don those woodies are great and it seems to me they leave my bow quieter.Ssamac the foam came from batman, i also made the frame from leftover wood from other projects, there is no board in the back, if you notice there is a whole in the middle of the target sometimes i'll get a complete pass through shot. ive been shootin alot anywhere from 30 - 50 arrows a day
