I would like some suggestions on the best way to remove paint from the limbs of an older Browning recurve. It is glass laminated and I worry about any damage being done to the glass. Thanks in advance.

Don't use a stripper as it will take the finish off.. A little acetone or finger nail polish remover and a paper towel should do the trick.

Yep, Damp, not wet. Acetone and paper towel.

Goof-Off. A small area at a time, and keep the windows open !

I've used lacquer thinner on a rag to wipe the paint off. Doesn't work if the paint is latex. The thinner doesn't seem to hurt the original finish as it is USUALLY a two-part finish that is virtually impervious to thinners and strippers. That being said, you should still try out on a spot that's easy to refinish, just in case.
